Settlement Pottery of the Kraghede Group / Ceramika osadowa grupy Kraghede

The history of research of the Kraghede group and its alleged special cultural status is briefly sketched out. The extent and dating of this cultural group is outlined, followed by the chronological development of Pre-Roman Iron Age pottery in North Jutland and a presentation of major types of settlement pottery from the period. The pottery from the two burnt-down houses at locus classicus are presented and the type-sequence of pottery from the regions settlements and graves is compared. Finally, the relation between the pottery of North Jutland and other regions is discussed.
